Nate, K6OSC has been
licensed since 1957 and currently holds an Advanced Class license.
In 1966, 1976 and 1977 he served a President of the Associated Radio
Amateurs of Long Beach, Inc. He also served three terms as President
of the Long Beach IBM Users Group. He has served as Chairman of
three ARRL Conventions aboard the Queen Mary. He brought ARALB members
into the Red Cross where he has been a member of the Disaster Services
team for more than 30 years. Nate arranged for the club station,
W6RO, to be located in the Wireless Room of the ship, Queen Mary,
and has been manager of the station for more than 27 years. He has
shown his slide show, “The Queen Mary Story” at radio
clubs in England, Israel and Hawaii and at many ARRL Conventions
and area radio clubs.
