Mr. Campbell has been the communications technician for the Cleveland National Forest for the U.S. Forest Service, for the last 17 months. Mr. Campbell retired as an Electronics Technician, Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, on 30Sept04. During these 25 years, the Campbells have been stationed in California, Virginia, Florida , Japan and Guam.

Mr. Campbell has been an avid amateur radio operator for 9 years. In addition to earning his extra license; Mr. Campbell has earned his general radiotelephone operator license.

While stationed on Guam, Mrs. Campbell had to prepare and go through Typhoon Chata'an and Halong, 05 and 10 July 2002. Five months later, Duncan joined his wife in the fun and frolic in preparing, going through and cleaning up after Supertyphoon Pongsona, 08 December 2002.

'Emergency Preparations' includes emergency communications, as well as emergency power, water, food and hygienic needs. Hopefully, this presentation will inform as well as entertain.
